Electrical tracks on the inside of the protective cover create a highly reliable, additional security element against physical attack. The tracks represent a closed circuit and are tightly positioned that it is practically impossible for an attacker to gain access.
Any attempted attack would either damage a track, thereby cutting the circuit, or cause a short-circuit between two tracks. As a result, the POS terminal switches itself off immediately, resulting in the loss of temporarily stored data, and a device that can no longer be used.
